About Us

The College was established in 1965, which makes it over 40 years old, during which time it has only had two Principal/Owners, the second Betty Keet, having qualified at the College herself in 1975

We are one of the oldest Fashion Design Colleges in South Africa and operates from a private house in a quiet residential suburb of Plumstead, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. There is no campus or sports field. We are a multi racial, multi cultural College who strives to give the students the best tuition in all aspects of fashion design. Today a person must be multi skilled in order to be successful. We have many past students working all over the world.

We are an approved centre for a City & Guilds of London International Diploma. 2005 saw 4 of our students achieving distinctions. All teachers have diplomas in their fields and student numbers are small for that personal touch. The students don't have to be proficient in sewing or drawing as we teach these skills from the very beginning.
